Services During Typhoons and Rainstorms - General Reference for the
Public

The Association has issued Rainstorm
and Typhoon Guidelines
which lay down special contingency measures that banks will follow
in adverse weather conditions.

table below summarises the closing and re-opening of bank branches
for ease of reference by members of the public. While HKAB endeavours
to make public announcements through the Government Information Services
as to the times at which banks will close or re-open to the public
during typhoons or rainstorms, for enquiries about the banking hours
of a particular bank, customers should enquire with the relevant bank
direct. |

Bank closing and re-opening during Typhoon signal no. 8 or above |
