In light of cash demands over the long weekend and the fact that around one tenth of ATMs were vandalised, banks have been working tirelessly to replenish cash for ATMs.

However, cash refill may be delayed in some areas due to public events or security concerns.  The Hong Kong Association of Banks (HKAB) appeals to public understanding on the situation.
