HKAB Recommends the Public to Use Electronic Channels for Banking Services

The Hong Kong Association of Banks (HKAB) expresses concern over the recent outbreak of the infectious disease in Hong Kong. All member banks will take appropriate measures in accordance with the relevant guidelines and notice issued by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority to safeguard the health of customers and bank employees, as part of the community effort to control the disease.

The HKAB reminds the general public that there are usually more customers conducting transactions at branches after long holidays. Customers are advised to access banking services via electronic channels, such as mobile, internet and phone banking, to avoid the crowds. We would like to thank the general public for their understanding in this matter.
