(21 March 2020) The Hong Kong Association of Banks (HKAB) welcomes the Legislative Council's passage of Special 100% Loan Guarantee administered by HKMC Insurance Limited (HKMCI). The banking industry has been actively supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In view of the current economic situation, our member banks have introduced various relief measures to help customers through this trying time. The banking industry will continue to support the financing guarantee products under the SME Financing Guarantee Scheme to provide timely assistance and address customers' pressing needs.
