(28 June 2021) As the black rainstorm was hoisted at 8:20 this morning while most bank staff had already arrived the office, the Hong Kong Association of Banks considers it appropriate to adopt a flexible arrangement whereby individual banks may open for business as soon as the weather permits. Members of the public are advised to pay attention to banks' announcements or visit their websites before visiting any bank branches while the black rainstorm is still in effect.
