HKAB Members Sponsor HKD6.5 million for COVID-19 Vaccination Lucky Draw

HKD100,000 Spending Credits or Shopping Vouchers for 65 Winners

Registration Opens from 26 July to 13 September

(25 July 2021) Thirty-one members of the Hong Kong Association of Banks (HKAB) have come together to offer HKD6.5 million in incentives to promote COVID-19 vaccination, in support of the Government's ongoing vaccination drive.

Sixty-five prizes valued at HKD100,000 each, in the form of credit card spending limit or shopping vouchers, will be given out at the HKAB COVID-19 Vaccination Lucky Draw. HKAB has set up a dedicated website at www.hkabluckydraw.hk for this lucky draw, which will open for registration from 10 am on 26 July to 5 pm on 13 September 2021.

The spending credit is applicable to the credit cards issued by 11 participating banks for the purchase of goods and services.

HKAB believes that city-wide vaccination offers Hong Kong the best path back to normal as an international financial centre. Individual banks have introduced facilitative measures, including flexible work, vaccination leave, group appointments and health talks, to encourage their employees to get vaccinated easily and safely.

"Thank you to the members for supporting the Lucky Draw. The HKAB COVID-19 Vaccination Lucky Draw underlines the shared commitment of banking industry to the well-being of Hong Kong people and society. HKAB will continue to facilitate industry efforts to support the Hong Kong economy as it has always been ever since its establishment 40 years ago," said Diana Cesar, Chairperson, HKAB.

All Hong Kong Identity Card holders (Permanent Residents and Non-Permanent Residents) aged 18 on or before 13 September 2021, who have already received both doses of COVID-19 vaccines in Hong Kong on or before 31 August 2021, will be eligible to enter the Lucky Draw. Entrants should enter their full HKID card number and Hong Kong mobile number, and ensure they have had two COVID-19 shots by 31 August.

All 65 winners will be randomly drawn on 17 September 2021 under the supervision of an independent auditor. The full list will be published on the Lucky Draw website and in local newspapers on 24 September 2021. Winners will be notified at their mobile number individually.

Full details on how to register, along with the official Terms & Conditions, can be found on the Lucky Draw website at www.hkabluckydraw.hk. For enquiries, please send to info@hkabluckydraw.hk.
