As the sole statutory banking association for all licensed banks in Hong Kong, HKAB is active in maintaining Hong Kong as a major international financial centre and furthering the interests of member banks.   Its professionalism and reputation are highly respected in the community.  The work of HKAB is supported by a very lean Secretariat which is headed by the Secretary-General who is seconded by the Chairman Bank of HKAB.   

Main Duties

  • Prepares/reviews HKAB submissions on issues which HKAB is consulted in view of members’ feedback (and undertakes research where needed).
  • Provides support to relevant committees, task forces and working groups by organising and, where appropriate, attending meetings, preparing minutes of meetings, taking follow-up actions, and liaison with relevant parties.
  • Liaises with various parties, including regulators, government bodies, etc. in matters of interest or concern to members.
  • Arranges seminars, workshops, briefings and social functions which may be organised or co-organised by HKAB. 
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisors

Requirements

  • University graduate with at least 7 years of working experience
  • Proficient in English writing
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Well-organized and attentive to details
  • be a good team player

Remuneration Package

  • Salary commensurate with qualifications
  • 18 days of AL & 1 day of birthday leave
